Styled Shoot // A Green Garden

 One of my favorite parts about working at The Barn is being surrounded by nature! At any time you can step outside and look in any direction and be overcome by the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue. The green grass, towering pine trees, and now our newest feature – The “green” Garden!! The idea of the Garden was planted last summer while sitting around chatting and enjoying the view. One idea led to another which in turn led to our blueprint being drawn up on a paper napkin, which is how most ideas around here are initially documented. When crafting our vision for The Garden, we wanted to create a space for clients to enjoy a tranquil atmosphere. That mission led to this styled shoot where we wanted to capture The Garden in all of its glory with a GREEN THEME!! 

Crew Christmas Party

On December 5th, 2019 we hosted a Christmas Party for all of the crew members who labored to create The Garden and make various updates to the property. We wanted to say thank you for all of their hard work and dedication. Completing The Barn renovations and getting it ready for the fall wedding season could not have happened without these folks! We wanted to host a Christmas dinner for the crew and decided to use this party as a time to plan a small photoshoot to bring to life some of our visions for the space. Lesley gave me the privilege of coming up with the design, layouts, and ideas behind the photoshoot. Since this event was to showcase the work that had been done, I wanted to design some looks for the garden! I chose to go with a darker, moody look with a winterland twist to go with The Green Garden.
